I'd be the first to admit that there are certainly a lot of blogs in the world today on every imaginable topic. Whether the world needs another one is certainly open to debate, but let me make the case for this one.
First, It's Local
The GVMH Foundation’s decision to publish a blog is rooted in our mission, which is stated in our theme, Here When You Need Us.
The Foundation is all about building healthier communities. Our communities. So you, your family, your friends and your neighbors always have top-quality healthcare without a drive to the city.
This blog will be about health and healthcare. It will tell the stories of how your generous donations combine with grants to help improve technologies and equipment, provide educational opportunities and provide patient support.
But, most importantly, it will be about you and your neighbors, and about how we can all be healthier together.

We chose Living Golden as a title for this blog because it is our aspirational goal for everyone to have the best quality of life they can. Your kind donations make it possible.
