Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Marine Donate 4,000 Masks to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare

Clinton, Mo. – (April 28, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) received 4,000 level 1 procedure face masks as part of a nationwide donation from Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Marine in Clinton. Bass Pro Shops is donating one million masks to healthcare workers and first responders working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the United States.

“We are extremely grateful to our nation’s healthcare workers serving on the frontlines of this unprecedented global health crisis,” said Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops, in a news release from the company. “These heroic men and women continue to dedicate their lives to save the loved ones of others, and we are all honored to support them on behalf of everyone at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, and the communities we serve.”

Bass Pro Shops donated masks to hospitals and medical facilities with a Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s store, boat center, distribution center, or White River Marine Group manufacturing facility.

“We appreciate the generosity of Bass Pro Shops for their donation of so many masks to help protect our patients, visitors and staff,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at GVMH. “Each of our staff members are required to wear a mask while in the facility and our patients and visitors are encouraged to do the same. We use numerous masks each day, so this donation will make a huge difference as we work to provide safe, quality care to each of our patients.”
