The Certified Executive in Nursing Practice (CENP) certification is a professional credential for nurse leaders at the executive level. This certification signifies advanced expertise in nursing leadership and administration and is designed for nurse executives who are responsible for strategic planning, organizational management, financial stewardship and leading large segments of healthcare organizations.
The Nurse Executive (NE-BC) certification represents knowledge and skills held by nurses who are in charge of a team, department or program of influence. Specifically, this certification covers human resource management, quality and safety issues, business management and healthcare delivery. Candidates must meet prerequisite, education, training and experience requirements and pass a written exam.
