Clinton, Mo. – (Aug. 23, 2019) – The Golden Valley Medical – Windsor clinic is expanding its facility and services to better support its patients and community.
The expansion will include an addition of nine exam rooms and three provider offices. The clinic will increase its physical therapy area to allow therapists to see more patients at a time and will include a new pediatric therapy room. The building will also have a new handicap accessible entrance on the north side, facing the First Christian Church. Inside the entrance, the clinic will have a larger waiting room, including sick and well areas for patients.
In addition, the clinic will have the potential to offer specialty services, as well as mammography and bone mineral density testing.
“The expansion of the Windsor clinic will allow us to see more patients, expand our rehab services and enhance our ancillary services to reduce out-of-town travel for local residents,” said Kayla Simmons, clinic manager at Golden Valley Medical – Windsor. “We are very excited about the benefits this will provide our community.”
Patients will see a very minimal impact in and around the clinic, which will remain fully functional during the expansion process. The project is expected to be complete by July 2020.
