Clinton, Mo. – (Aug. 11, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce it is now offering Rheumatology Services at its Clinton Clinic and has added a full-time Rheumatologist, Zahra Rehman, MD, to its medical staff.
In this role, Dr. Rehman will diagnose and treat autoimmune diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis and other diseases of the joints, muscles and bones. She will evaluate symptoms, review diagnostic imaging and develop personalized treatment plans to help improve symptoms or prevent progression of rheumatic disease in patients.
Dr. Rehman received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies and a Pre-Health Baccalaureate Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In addition, she completed a Rheumatology Fellowship at University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas, as well as an Internal Medicine Chief Residency and Internal Medicine Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Rehman is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine
