Clinton, MO. – (November 28, 2024) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to welcome Elizabeth (Liz) Elwell, Family Nurse Practitioner, to its Clinton Clinic and Britney McDonald, Family Nurse Practitioner, to its Warsaw Clinic.
Elwell earned both her Bachelor of Science, Nursing and Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO. She will be working in GVMH’s internal medicine unit.
GVMH is a family affair for the Elwell clan. It is widely known the organization greatly benefits from the family’s passion for healthcare. GVMH employs Elwell’s husband, two cousins, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and aunt.
McDonald began her journey as a Registered Nurse (RN) by obtaining her Associate Degree in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing, St. Petersburg, FL. She quickly expanded her knowledge base by finishing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH.
Most recently, she graduated from Simmons University in Boston, MA with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) before accepting her position at GVMH’s Warsaw Walk-In Clinic.
McDonald enjoys the challenge of quickly building rapport then diagnosing and treating patients’ ailments with no prior knowledge of their health history. Having just moved to our community, her new role at the Warsaw Walk-In Clinic will put McDonald’s skills to the test as she begins to build new relationships with patients.
