Clinton, Mo. – (April 16, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Amy Lutjen has been named Staff Member of the Year. Lutjen is the Administrative Assistant in the Human Resources Department.
Lutjen was one of 12 Staff Members of the Month eligible for the 2020-2021 Staff Member of the Year award. A select committee of employees review all the nomination forms and vote to determine the Staff Member of the Year.
“Amy does an amazing job in her role at GVMH,” said Greg Shannon, Chief Human Resources Officer at GVMH. “She goes above and beyond to make the onboarding process for employees, volunteers and students work smoothly, which not only creates a great first impression, but also puts people at ease as they begin their new assignment with GVMH. Amy interacts with everyone she encounters in a professional and friendly manner and never hesitates to manage up other departments.”
In recognition, Lutjen received a GVMH gift, floral bouquet, $500 cash award, a plaque and a special parking place for the remainder of the fiscal year.
