Clinton, Mo. – (Aug. 11, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Dani Tirey is the August Employee of the Month.
Tirey has been an employee of GVMH since October 2010. She works as a Charge Nurse in the Birthing Center.
Her nomination stated that Tirey is a great resource for newer nurses. As a charge nurse, she leads by example, helps ensure everything in the Birthing Center runs smoothly and communicates well with her coworkers, supervisors and providers. She is a great listener, helps resolve conflicts and coaches staff when needed.
Tirey also cares for every patient and their family as if they were her own. She goes out of her way to make patients feel special and empowers them to become involved in their own care.
As the Employee of the Month, Tirey received a GVMH gift and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. She is also one of 12 finalists for the 2021-2022 Employee of the Year award.
