Clinton, Mo. – (July 2, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) announces the retirement of James (Jim) Gamber, assistant director of environmental services.
Gamber worked at GVMH for 26 years in the environmental services department, working his way up to a director position over the years. In his role, Gamber has been maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital and co-managing the environmental services team.
“Jim has been an integral piece of our environmental services team over the past 26 years,” said Tammy Nadler, chief financial officer at GVMH. “It has been a pleasure to work with him as our organization has grown. We wish him the best.”
Gamber and his wife, Debbie, of 37 years, have two children, five grandchildren and one grandchild on the way. He plans to spend more time with his family during retirement.
“The best part about working at GVMH is the people,” Gamber said. “This organization is a great place to work.”
A retirement celebration will be held July 11 from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Golden Valley Hospital lobby. The public is invited to attend.
