Clinton, Mo. – (July 7, 2022) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Melondy Bowland is the July Employee of the Month.
Bowland has been an employee of GVMH since May 2015 and works as a Social Worker in the Social Services department.
When nominating Bowland, her coworkers stated that she is the go-to person for rules and regulations, has a great awareness of the community resources available for patients and has played a key role in creating strong relationships with other departments and provider offices. In addition, Bowland is extremely professional and keeps up-to-date on continuing her education to maintain her Master of Social Work licensure, even though it is not required for her position.
As the Employee of the Month, Bowland received a GVMH gift and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. She is also one of 12 finalists for the 2022-2023 Employee of the Year award.
