Clinton, Mo. – (June 2, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Megan Skaggs is the June Employee of the Month.
Skaggs has been an employee of GVMH since May 2006 and currently works as Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Surgery Department.
Her nomination stated that Skaggs is a positive and compassionate leader in the Surgery department. She presents herself professionally, has a great rapport with other departments and is always willing to work as long as needed to ensure patient and staffing needs are met.
Skaggs is the go-to nurse when questions or concerns arise. Surgeons, anesthetists and ancillary staff seek her out because she is trustworthy, dependable, a true team player and always willing to help others.
As the Employee of the Month, Skaggs received a GVMH gift and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. She is also one of 12 finalists for the 2021-2022 Employee of the Year award.
