Clinton, Mo. – (May 8, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Christine Faulconer has been named staff member of the month.
Faulconer has been an employee at GVMH since May 2011 and currently works as the infection control and clinical quality officer in Quality Management and Infection Control.
Coworkers nominated Faulconer and had the following to say about her: “Christine wants GVMH to be the best place for patients to receive care and staff to work. She is the ‘go to’ person for clinic staff.”
“She interacts with her customers and community through her work with the clinics. This includes attending emergency preparedness meetings and collaborating with several agencies in Benton, Henry and St. Clair counties. Christine has a definite sense of ownership when it comes to her job duties and is a great resource for the clinic staff and providers.”
“Christine is an excellent communicator. Infection control information is correct, concise and evidence-based.”
In addition to being named staff member of the month, Faulconer received a flower bouquet, $100 gift certificate and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. Christine is also one of 12 finalists for the 2019-2020 staff member of the year award.
