Clinton, Mo. – (Mar. 17, 2021) – Beginning March 22, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) will be offering same day COVID-19 testing at its Clinton Clinic, on an appointment basis.
Appointments for same day COVID-19 testing will be available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and same day scheduling is offered, based on appointment availability. An order from a provider is not necessary and patients will receive results within 90 minutes of specimen collection.
“We are excited to offer same day testing to help meet the needs of our community,” said Kyle Adkins, Chief Operating Officer at GVMH. “Same day COVID-19 testing provides an advantage to patients who need quick results for travel, work, school or other purposes that require same day results. Receiving quick test results can also help reduce the spread of COVID-19 as patients know to isolate faster than with traditional testing methods.”
