Clinton, MO. – (Jan. 4, 2024) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that the Dr. James and JoAnn Bourland Radiation Oncology Center is open and seeing patients.
With the addition of the Bourland Radiation Oncology Center, GVMH now offers complete cancer care, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to allow patients to receive the cancer care they need, closer to home.
Featuring one of the most advanced medical linear accelerator suites available today, the Varian Medical Systems TrueBeam Linear Accelerator system provides state-of-the-art in high precision, image-guided radiotherapy to treat tumors wherever they are found in the body. The linear accelerator suite also includes a unique Skylite™ in-ceiling video wall to help relax patients with calming videos and images during radiation treatments.
In addition to state-of-the art technology, GVMH has a team of nurse navigators, medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists and other specialists. Together, they provide a unique, compassionate program of care during every stage of treatment — and beyond.
