Clinton, MO. – (May 2, 2024) – National Patient Experience Week is April 29-May 3, 2024, and this year Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is celebrating five of its departments that have demonstrated outstanding safety, quality and care according to their patients.
After a patient visits GVMH, they get the opportunity to complete a survey to provide feedback on how they felt about their care, the facility and their healthcare team. The results from the survey are then compared to organizations of all sizes across the country, including rural hospitals and clinics, as well as multi-state healthcare systems.
From the comparison, GVMH had five departments that ranked in the top 25% in the country. This includes the Food and Nutrition department in the 90th percentile; Hospice Services in the 94th percentile; the Laboratory team at the Osceola Clinic in the 79th percentile; the Radiology team at the Osceola Clinic in the 84th percentile and the Windsor Clinic in the 83rd percentile.
“We are extremely proud of all these teams and appreciate their hard work and dedication,” said Rachel Boyles, Chief Service Officer at GVMH. “These scores indicate that we have some of the best care and service in the nation. For example, our Hospice Services team is in the 94th percentile, which means they scored better than 94% of other Hospice organizations.”
