Clinton, Mo. – (Feb. 7, 2021) – Effective Monday, February 8, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) will be offering additional vaccination clinics, by appointment only, to people in the approved phases of the State of Missouri vaccination plan. This includes Phase 1A, Phase 1B – Tier 1 and Phase 1B – Tier 2 at this time. For more information on the Missouri COVID-19 vaccine plan and priority phases, go to: covidvaccine.mo.gov.
To schedule an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine at GVMH, please call 660.324.2995. The call center is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This number is the only way to schedule a vaccine. Please do not call other numbers so GVMH can keep those phone lines available for patients that have other medical needs.
All individuals that are currently scheduled to receive a vaccination at GVMH have a guaranteed dose and will not have to wait in line.
If you have an appointment at GVMH, but received a shot at another location, please call 660.890.7300 as quickly as possible to let GVMH know so they can schedule someone else to receive your dose and none of the vaccine goes to waste.
“As a Missouri high throughput vaccinator, we will receive a consistent and steady supply of the COVID-19 vaccine to immunize residents, which helps us schedule future vaccination clinics,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at GVMH. “It has been heartwarming and uplifting for me and our staff to be able to help so many people get the vaccine.”
To support the COVID-19 vaccination clinics, OATS Transit is offering free transportation for residents to get their vaccine. Please call 800.276.6287 to schedule a ride. Appointments are accepted up to 2 p.m. the day before service in the following counties: Bates, Benton, Carroll, Chariton, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, St. Clair, Saline and Vernon.
