Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Takes Precautions at Windsor Clinic

Clinton, Mo. – (July 13, 2020) – As a precaution, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has quarantined some of its staff at its Windsor clinic due to contact with someone that recently tested positive for COVID-19. These staff members will be on quarantine for 14 days.

No patients were exposed to COVID-19 and it is safe to go to the Windsor clinic as GVMH continues to take every preventative measure necessary to ensure the safety for patients, visitors, staff and the community. This includes:

  • Screening patients and visitors for fever, cough and other symptoms prior to entering
  • Requiring staff, patients and visitors to wear face coverings
  • Designating waiting areas between sick and well patients, depending on symptoms and types of visits
  • Utilizing social distancing
  • Cleaning our facilities per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocol

“All of our patients that currently have appointments will still be seen as scheduled by their usual provider or an appropriate alternative,” said Meredith Cooper, Clinics Administrator at GVMH. “All of our providers are compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable and will ensure that our patients get the highest quality of care. Patients will also be able to schedule an appointment or visit our walk-in clinic without interruption over the next two weeks. It is now more important than ever to not delay your healthcare needs. It critical that you get the care you need, when you need it.”
