Clinton, Mo. – (May 12, 2022) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to welcome Race Kastl as its new Oncology Services Director.
As the Oncology Services Director, Kastl will oversee the management and coordination of the Cancer Center including medical oncology, infusion therapy, radiation oncology and radiation therapy. He will also collaborate with others to advance the quality of patient care and ensure strategies align with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) oncology services.
Kastl received a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy with a certificate in Radiation Therapy at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. and an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo. He is also enrolled in a Masters of Business Administration program at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan.
Prior to joining GVMH, Kastl worked at Central Care Cancer Center as the Chief Radiation Therapist. He also worked at Freeman Health System as a Radiation Therapist and Technologist.
