Clinton, Mo. – (March 1, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare has announced that Angie Crook is the March GVMH Staff Member of the Month. Angie has been an employee of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) since October 2006 and currently works as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Occupational Therapy department. Coworkers nominated Angie and had the following to say about her:
“Angie makes our team better. She is respectful to our patients and is respected by her coworkers. Angie remains positive and can always diffuse any situation.”
“Trained to work in the inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, Angie is willing to help out wherever she is needed. Angie is also the “mom” of our department and gives the best advice.”
“Angie is always volunteering in the community. In fact, she even covered for a coworker at a community event during an unexpected absence. Additionally, Angie offers support to numerous students during their clinical rotations throughout the year.”
“Our patients really like Angie. She communicates with people well, which makes them feel comfortable around her. Angie is definitely an asset to our department."
In addition to being named Staff Member of the Month, Angie was given a flower bouquet, a $100 gift certificate and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. Angie is also one of 12 finalists for the 2018-2019 Staff Member of the Year award.
