Clinton, Mo. – (May 12, 2022) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Tracy Schubert, RDN, LDN, CDCES and Lisa Susunaga, RN, BSN, CDCES have passed their Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) program.
The CDCES program is a practice-based certification for experienced health professionals who provide diabetes care and education. To maintain CDCES credentials, individuals must complete a minimum of 1,000 renewal practice hours and spend a minimum of 15 hours continuing their diabetes education during a five-year cycle period.
“I am extremely proud of Tracy and Lisa for attaining this certification,” said Cynthia Brouk, Director of Food and Nutrition Services. “Both are very dedicated to our patients and offer Diabetic Services in Clinton, Osceola, Warsaw and Windsor. They also offer monthly diabetes training sessions in Clinton.”
