Who can use a virtual visit?
Any patient, with an active myGVMH Health Portal account, may use virtual visits for non-emergency conditions. Minors must have a guardian present during the visit.

How do I schedule a virtual visit?
From a computer or smartphone, log into the myGMVH Portal, click on Appointments, click on Schedule Appointment or Virtual Visit, and then continue to follow the screen instructions.
If you are on your smartphone or tablet, you will need the Meditech MHealth app (Android or iOS).
If you don’t have a myGVMH Health Portal account, but have had a visit at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), you can register for a myGVMH Health Portal account. Contact Health Information Management at 660-890-7133 and ask to register for the myGVMH Health Portal.
What happens when it is time for my virtual visit?
Log into your myGVMH Health Portal account, click on the Check In link, and complete the check in process. You will then connect to the video, and your primary care provider will join you. Your visit will be similar to an in-person appointment.
Can I get prescriptions through a virtual visit?
Your primary care provider may or may not prescribe medications based on their assessment during your visit.
