Brian Bellamy, MD, is a skilled and compassionate family medicine provider at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), bringing more than 25 years of experience and a patient-centered approach to his practice. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive care for patients of all ages, building long-term relationships with families and fostering a strong sense of trust and continuity in healthcare.

As Chief Medical Officer, Bellamy collaborates closely with the medical staff across GVMH facilities and settings to ensure that patient care remains of the highest standard while supporting providers' professional needs.

Prior to joining GVMH, Bellamy worked at St. Lukes Family Medical Clinic in Clinton. He is deeply committed to providing a comprehensive and personalized approach to healthcare, from preventive care to management of chronic conditions, and values working closely with patients to meet their healthcare goals.

Bellamy earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. After completing his medical education, Dr. Bellamy pursued residency training in Family Practice at Cox Medical Centers in Springfield, Missouri, where he was Chief Resident.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Bellamy is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Missouri Academy of Family Physicians, and Missouri State Medical Association.
