With more than 15 years of dedicated human resources experience in the healthcare sector, Jessica Henderson is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare.
In her role, Henderson is instrumental in overseeing the Human Resources department’s strategic direction, including managing employee benefit programs, compensation practices, HR policies and the recruitment and onboarding processes for new staff.
Henderson also leads the Leadership Development Institute (LDI), organizing quarterly leadership training sessions, and co-chairs the Staff Advisory Committee to enhance employee engagement.
Additionally, she manages the departments for Auxiliary, Education, Provider and Employee Engagement and Security Services.
Before joining GVMH, Henderson served at Fitzgibbon Hospital for 10 years, holding key roles such as Human Resources Director, Human Resources Manager and Recruiter. She also worked as the Recruiting Manager at Pathways Behavioral Healthcare (Compass Health Network).
Henderson holds a dual Master of Arts in Human Resources Development and Management Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified professional and serves on the Missouri Society of Healthcare Human Resource Association (MSHHRA) Board.
