Lynette Hayes, Chief Nursing Officer at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. She is highly skilled in all aspects of nursing leadership, nursing processes, patient care and staff development.
In her role, she oversees services and staff for the Birthing Center, Emergency Services, Home Services, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Medical-Surgical Services, Nursing Services and Pharmacy and Regulatory Services. Hayes has also been instrumental in launching programs at GVMH such as the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program.
Prior to joining GVMH, Hayes was employed with HCA Healthcare as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point providing executive leadership for more than 200 employees. Hayes has also been a Senior Clinical Consultant at Cerner Corporation, where she provided operational and clinical leadership for a $4.5 million footprint project.
Hayes earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Avila University and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership degree from the Research College of Nursing where she received the Dean’s Award, the highest academic achievement in the program. In addition, she has a certification in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) and a certification as a Forensic Nurse Examiner from the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Hayes is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
